Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and implementation of features within the .NET / Azure ecosystem, ensuring solutions are maintainable, performant, and secure. 
  • Leverage AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., Claude Code) to accelerate development while maintaining code quality and accountability for all generated output. 
  • Participate in code reviews with a focus on mentoring junior and mid-level engineers, raising team-wide standards for readability and testability. 
  • Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into well-structured technical solutions. 
  • Contribute to architectural decisions and help evaluate trade-offs across the technology stack. 
  • Support weekly release cycles with disciplined development practices, including thorough testing and clear documentation. 

Position Requirements:

  • 5 to 10 years of professional software engineering experience. 
  • Strong proficiency in C# and the .NET framework. 
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently on complex features while keeping the broader team informed and aligned. 
  • Clear, professional communication skills, written and verbal, suitable for a cross-functional healthcare environment. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Solid SQL skills with an emphasis on reporting: writing queries to support business intelligence and operational reporting. 
  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar) as part of a professional workflow. 
  • Experience with Power BI, data warehousing concepts, or web-based reporting tools: building dashboards, data models, or report delivery pipelines. 
  • Familiarity with ASP.NET web application patterns (MVC, Razor Pages, or Blazor). 
  • Background in healthcare technology, HIPAA-regulated environments, or similarly compliance-sensitive industries. 
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices within Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
