Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of features within the .NET / Azure ecosystem, ensuring solutions are maintainable, performant, and secure.Â
- Leverage AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., Claude Code) to accelerate development while maintaining code quality and accountability for all generated output.Â
- Participate in code reviews with a focus on mentoring junior and mid-level engineers, raising team-wide standards for readability and testability.Â
- Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into well-structured technical solutions.Â
- Contribute to architectural decisions and help evaluate trade-offs across the technology stack.Â
- Support weekly release cycles with disciplined development practices, including thorough testing and clear documentation.Â
Position Requirements:
- 5 to 10 years of professional software engineering experience.Â
- Strong proficiency in C# and the .NET framework.Â
- Demonstrated ability to work independently on complex features while keeping the broader team informed and aligned.Â
- Clear, professional communication skills, written and verbal, suitable for a cross-functional healthcare environment.Â
Preferred Qualifications:
- Solid SQL skills with an emphasis on reporting: writing queries to support business intelligence and operational reporting.Â
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar) as part of a professional workflow.Â
- Experience with Power BI, data warehousing concepts, or web-based reporting tools: building dashboards, data models, or report delivery pipelines.Â
- Familiarity with ASP.NET web application patterns (MVC, Razor Pages, or Blazor).Â
- Background in healthcare technology, HIPAA-regulated environments, or similarly compliance-sensitive industries.Â
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices within Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.Â
