About The Position
Mail Order Specialists assist our members and clients with every step in the process from answering questions, collecting information, reaching out to healthcare providers, completing paperwork, and maintaining all prescription follow-up/refill communications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Effectively communicate to members and providers who SHARx is and how we will assist with prescription medications
- Obtain necessary prescriptions from healthcare providers
- Provide guidance to members on the status of their medications via email, text or the SHARx portal
- Maintain detailed, written documentation of all actions and interactions
- Take ownership of the assigned cases and see the process through to the end
Position Requirements:
- Customer service oriented and a willingness to help
- Effective and efficient communication, both verbal and written, to provide excellent service to our members
- Ability to provide detailed documentation
- Well-spoken and comfortable with communication via phone
- Prioritization and solution-based thinking to find a result for our members and determine when to escalate a complex problem
- Self-motivated and able to work both independently and within a team
- Proficient with computers and comfortable with heavy utilization of internet-based resources
- Knowledge of prescription and medical insurance as well as terminology
- 1 or more years experience in customer service
- Pharmacy, doctor office, or medical experience preferred
