About The Position

We are searching for communicative candidates who are proactive and passionate about SHARx and the clients they serve. Patient Advocates will act as a point of contact for patients and clients. They will build long-lasting, mutually beneficial relationships with their members, always striving to find solutions that best fit the individual needs of the patient. They also aid internal departments by collecting information, completing paperwork, and maintaining all prescription follow-up and refill communications.

To succeed in this position, candidates should have exceptional communication, computer, and problem-solving skills. You should be resourceful, analytical, adaptable, and organized with the ability to build rapport with patients.

This is a full-time opportunity; selected applicants will work Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

Responsibilities

  • Communicating with members to help them understand SHARx and how we assist with prescription medications
  • Building relationships with patients based on trust and respect
  • Collaborating with internal departments to facilitate prescription need fulfillment
  • Performing calculations and analyzing patient data to determine the best route to access medications
  • Maintaining updated knowledge of medications, Manufacturer Free Programs, and assigned patient cases
  • Resolving complaints and preventing additional issues by improving processes
  • Acting as an advocate with a focus on improving the member experience
  • Providing education and guidance to patients
