Sales Coordinator - St. Louis, MO

About The Position

The Sales Coordinator is responsible for working closely with the Chief Growth Officer, marketing team, sales team, and General Agents, to ensure that SHARx is providing high-level customer service to our distribution partners while working with internal teams to ensure that all departments have the information they need to effectively do their jobs.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and qualify incoming leads and delegate to appropriate Regional Sales Director

  • Interact with current and prospective brokers to collect required data

  • Assist RSDs with RFP submission, distribution, and completion

  • Update and maintain records in Salesforce to ensure data hygiene

  • Qualify existing leads and relationships utilizing industry specific tools (BenefitFlow, MiEdge)

  • Prepare regular reports for Regional Sales Directors

  • Review all client documents for accuracy and completion

  • Collaborate with Marketing team to update and customize materials such as Sales PowerPoints, Case Studies, etc.

  • Work with Finance team to ensure appropriate paperwork is received and accurate.

  • Act as a liaison between brokers and Regional Sales Directors to secure all necessary documents

  • Answer phone calls (when necessary) and monitor broker phone line

  • Assist with travel arrangements and ordering of SHARx giveaway/promotional items for Regional Sales Directors, as needed

  • Assist with completing and submitting expense reports for Regional Sales Directors

  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years experience as administrative assistant, coordinator, or similar role

  • Articulate, with strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Problem solving

  • Multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to work both independently and in teams

  • User of technologies such as CRM, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.

  • Experience supporting Sales team highly preferred

  • Knowledge of the Employee Benefits industry is a plus
